The brief: turn a flat, unused stretch of roof into something with real character — without compromising the building’s structural integrity or weatherproofing.

Round dormers are notoriously tricky to get right. The curved profile demands precise setting-out and skilled carpentry long before a single tile goes on, with little room for error once the structure takes shape.

Row of finished round dormer frames on the roof, Northampton

Our team worked through it methodically: setting out the roof structure, framing and constructing the curved dormers, then finishing every detail to a high standard inside and out.

The result is a roofline that stands out for the right reasons — added natural light, extra usable space, and a distinctive silhouette that suits the property beautifully.

Led on site by Victor, our Senior Construction Specialist, whose roofing and structural experience was essential in getting the curves right.
